Chefs on Stage 2007

Thank you for your interest in sponsorship opportunities with State College Magazine’s Chefs on Stage 2007. We hope to answer some of the questions you may have about the event, and why your involvement is so important.

The beneficiary for Chefs on Stage 2007 is the State College Area Family YMCA’s Strong Kids Program, an ongoing assistance program in our community. Through the YMCA Strong Kids Program, no one, regardless of his or her financial situation, is turned away from the vital and healthy opportunities offered by the YMCA.

Hardships due to job loss, illness or other unforeseen circumstances should not be the exit ramp to failure. Through the YMCA’s Strong Kids Program, families going through hardships can still participate in the enriching activities offered by the YMCA. Swimming, day camp and school-aged day care as well as other activities, need not drop off of a family’s list due to financial constraints.

Your support of Chefs on Stage 2007 is needed to enrich this vital community program and help make this annual event an even bigger success than it has been in the past. In fact, every year since its inception, Chefs on Stage has been completely sold out. We can’t think of any other local fundraiser with a comparable philanthropic achievement record.
