Coquese’s Drive

On Friday, Aug. 18, the Penn State women’s basketball program and the Centre County Women’s Resource Center combined forces to host the 10th Annual Coquese’s Drive for the Centre County Women’s Resource Center at the Penn State Blue Course. The event, which raises money to support the mission of the CCWRC, featured 100 golfers and countless volunteers, raising more than $17,000 for the seventh straight year. After golf, a chance auction and other donations, the check presentation from Penn State women’s basketball head coach Coquese Washington to CCWRC Executive Director Anne Ard totaled $18,453, the fifth highest total in the event’s history.
