¡Viva México! Artists Reception

Art lovers in State College were invited to celebrate the Latin American holiday Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) during a fiesta-style reception on Nov. 2 for “¡Viva México!,” an exhibit at the State College Framing Co. & Gallery. The three-woman show featured Mexican-inspired works by local artists: photographer Stacie Bird, metal sculptor Elli Groninger and photographer and cut paper artist Harriet M. Rosenberg. A portion of proceeds from art sold during the event will benefit the Bellefonte Art Museum for Centre County. Photos by April Myers.
