Fall in the Big Apple
If you’re planning an early autumn trip to NYC, you may want to schedule around an annual food-centric fundraiser scheduled for Sept. 16.
For one night only, the Village Alliance will host its 7th Annual Taste of the Village, which benefits the renovation of the world-renowned Washington Square Park. Some of the best restaurants throughout Greenwich Village will participate in the event.
Tickets are just $40 per person, which most natives and frequent visitors assure us (with a straight face) is roughly the cost of traveling two blocks in the city. For the ticket price, you’ll get food and drink aplenty. Last year’s participants included Blue Hill, Elettaria, Otto Enoteca Pizzeria, Australian Homemade, Knickerbocker Bar and Grill and Cho Cho San, to name just a few.
